Birchbox February 2017 – Papier

What a treat this month’s Birchbox has been. Brought to us in two designs from British stationary brand Papier this box helps you ‘Express Yourself’. It’s a very well-rounded, put together items this month.

Starting with the only full sized item this month is the super soft Spectrums Collections Marbelous C06 Tulip Eye Contour Brush RRP £4.99. White and Rose Gold Copper finish what isn’t to love?

It works perfectly for blending the Pop Beauty eyeshadow trio that also came in the Birchbox Feb 2017 box as it is so fluffy. The eyeshadow trio is a lovely combo, high pigmented and super blendable. I would usually choose these shades but in a matte but the shimmer is a welcome change to my beauty routine.

For hair, there is the Show Premiere dry shampoo. The packaging isn’t for me, but it is a handy travel size and smells lovely. It isn’t something that can be overused – you hair can easily go grey with this! The box also contains the Beaver Professional Daily Moisture Conditioning Spray which I am very excited to try. I use a few oils, and hair care sprays on my long locks post hair wash but am always keen to try out new detanglers and anything that promises to reduce frizz.

Finally, there is the Keeome hydration mask therapy. A single sheet mask that is apparently usually around the £10 mark…?! The mask has a pretty mild scent, and unlike other sheet masks, I have used in the past needs to be left for around 25 minutes. The mask contains a ‘hydrating blend of vital vitamins and mulberry extracts that sink straight into tired complexions.’ It is something that I enjoy receiving and found refreshing but probably not something I would purchase. Enjoy the creepy photos, there is just no way to photograph wearing a sheet mask in a none creepy manor…
