The Body Shop is such a wonderful place for presents; I love knowing that everything I purchase is vegetarian and cruelty-free. My Mum and I were recently invited to a Body Shop Mothers Day Blogger Event in their Leeds store and had the most wonderful time.
It was such a good idea, the first time as a blogger in fact, that there has been a blogger event for Mother’s Day when you can bring you Mum/ Mother figure along to enjoy and experience the event!
At the Body Shop Mothers Day Blogger Event, we learnt a little about the perfume range at Body Shop, and the connection we can have with scents towards our Mums. We then had a little pamper session, here is my Mum enjoying a nice shoulder massage…
A big part of the event was creating our body butter lids. This was such a fab idea, and available in many stores if your looking for a Mothers day present.

The body butter scent inside is their new Almond Milk & Honey Soothing & Restoring Body Butter – very subtle and delicately fragranced.
After our massages and making Mum’s personalised body butter we had a makeup consultation.
Their makeup is cruelty-free and vegetarian, so we love it. The quality is also excellent, so we picked up quite a few different items. Mum found a foundation in the right shade, after a lot of help and debate.
We usually struggle finding light enough shades, but there was plenty of options for us to choose. They also offer foundation lightener if you cannot find the exact shade.
Mums foundation looked amazing, so she also picked up their stippling brush with her foundation for an even application and finish. I picked up one of their All-In-One Instablur Universal primers to try out to mattify my skin and hide some of the acne scars.
For my sisters we chose some of the Matte Lip Liquid shades. They were much raved about but none that suited my complexion. In our take home goody bags, I also received their contour kits and lip kits which I am excited to try out and share with you!
