Couture Beauty this autumn/winter has Christian Dior / Pat McGrath and her team treat models’ lips to a coat of glitter. The focus of their make up this season was the lips with minimal eye makeup. Colours chosen for the lips varied on the model’s skin tone in different pinks and bronze. Here is my designer Inspired makeup alternatives. This look can be achieved by applying NYX Diamond sparkle lipstick and then a layer of Lipcote. For a more extreme glitter lip effect apply clear lip gloss such as 2True Plumptuous over the lipstick and dab on M.A.C glitter. To make this look last longer apply a layer of lipcote.
Dior eyes were given a wash of iridescent shadow. Barry M have fantastic Dazzle Dust that will give a similar effect and has different colours that will suit different skin complexions. Glitter dust was dabbed at the inner corners and at the centre of the models eyelids which can be done easily with a cotton bud using glitter eye shadow. To complete this look slick your hair into a low chignon.
