New Look: LFW Questions

New Look recently got in contact for me to share a little bit about myself and my thoughts on the recently LFW.

About you…

  • When did you start your blog?

I started my blog on the 19th of August 2013, so I’ve only been running my fashion and beauty blog for 6 months. Time has gone so fast but I have loved everything about writing this blog.

  • How do you convey your creativity into your blog?

Outside of the blog I’m a digital artist. I love being able to customise my blog and make it my own as well as developing my photography skills through the blogging. I also love making new and exciting nail art.

  • Where do you see your blog in 5 years’ time?

Hopefully my blog will continue to grow, my readers will keep returning to keep me company and my own style will develop along the way. I’m loving blogging and want this passion to continue 5 years down the line!

LFW…

  • What trends did you spot at this year’s London Fashion Week?

Iridescent, sheers and shiny pretty garments gave a softer approach this year. Rather than metallic’s reflective translucent’s and gloss were to be seen such as Felder Felder’s shine.

  • If you could take home just one outfit from LFW, which would it be and why?

John Rocha LFW 2014

I loved this look by John Rocha, wet look crimped hair with a full-skirted dress and wide-brimmed hat. The matching floral design on both the hat and dress bring a romantic feminism to this classic look with their contrasting tones against the sheer fabric.

  • What was the most outrageous outfit this LFW?

Pam Hogg’s collection was fairly unique. With large statement pieces the collection was dedicating themselves to Pussy Riot. The Pam Hogg’s show looked exciting and shocking, pushing all boundaries. Including models who were drag queens and plus sized models they hit the runway in skin-tight rainbow coloured jumpsuits, huge statement headdresses and sheer frocks.

Wow, I can’t believe you’ve only been blogging for 6 months! So much success already, and the opportunity to go to LFW, a dream in my eyes.
    Keep it up :)
