Nicky Clarke Straightener Review – Diamond Shine Pro Salon Hair Straightener

Real diamonds are infused within the Nicky Clarke Diamond Shine Pro Salon Hair Straightener ceramic plates which claims to offer a super-hard surface to create amazing shine, whatever your style as the plates will glide through your hair better. It take a lot to tear me away from my GHD’s and impress me with hair straighteners but I had to give this new technology a try.

Features of this straightener include –

  • This deluxe gemstone provides even, efficient heat distribution ensuring hair spends less time in contact with the heat to help avoid damage
  • LED temperature display
  • Hinge lock
  • Far infrared technology penetrates the hair, drying from the inside out, which preserves moisture and protects against cuticle damage, for healthier, shinier hair
  • Intelligent heaters automatically adjust the plate temperature, preventing loss of heat and damaging hot spots during styling
  • Floating plates with five heat settings (max 235°C) for different hair types
  • Auto shut-off

I cannot say that I particularly noticed a difference between these diamond infused plates and my GHD’s in terms of a smoother glide through my hair or a glossier finish. They are very good straighteners and were able to get hot enough to work well with my hair.

The Nicky Clarke Straightener Review – I have far too much volume with my hair, it is very thick as you can see from the images and so I often straighten my hair. The Nicky Clarke Diamond Shine Pro Salon Straightener is really beautifully presented with diamante’s inlaid against in a white and brushed steel finish that looks sharp and classy. The straighteners have 5 heat settings, I went for the hottest setting as my hair is a little unmanageable but it is a great feature for those of you who don’t need as intense a heat to get rid of any kinks.

The Nicky Clarke Diamond Shine Pro Salon range isn’t particularly cheap, the straighteners are around £85 although I saw that they went down to a more reasonable price around £55 after Christmas and are still on sale here and here!

The Nicky Clarke Straighteners are often heavily reduced, they are available at –
Argos
Very
Debenhams
Boots

So look out for which is currently the cheapest!
