Today I bring you an easy to follow pastel tip nail tutorial. This gives a great and subtle effect using pastel tones that are really in this season. Mix it up with different colours and vibrance :).
Step #1 – Undercoat. I used Nails Inc. South Molton Street Nail Polish as my base coat. This is a really lovely nail varnish and is great as an almost clear coat. The polish is slightly tinted pink making it perfect for french manicure effects and leaves the nails feeling nourished once removed rather than damaged.
Step #2 – Nail tip guides. As shown below nail tip guides are an essential for doing nail tip colour. The nail tip guides I used were from Ebay and cost a pound for a pack of 3 with loads on a sheet which is fantastic. Simply peel off, stick firmly down and paint on the colour.
Step #3 Final result. Wait for the paint to dry, peel off the stickers and apply a topcoat, and there you have it!
