Pop of Passion Blush – bareMinerals Natural Passion

bareMinerals have gone completely out of their comfort zone with their latest collaboration, launched in June 2015, with artist Sara Pope. This Pop of Passion range offers 8 different lip balms and 3 different shades of cheek balms. The three different Pop of Passion cheek shades are Posy Passion, Papaya Passion and, the one that I am sharing with you today and have been testing out, Natural Passion.

It settles to a dewy, powdery consistency and the quality hasn’t been affected by areas of my skin that are dry or oily. Whilst the blush offers a good amount of pigment the finish is very natural and weightless so if you are looking for an intense colour pay off the Pop of Passion balm is buildable and can be layered without looking cakey.

All three of the Pop of Passion blush balms shades look to be universally flattering, wearable and fairly neutral to suit a range of different skin tones. The Natural Passion is a beautiful cool toned, dusky rose brown that is a perfect everyday shade, giving me a great naturally flushed look for my fair skin. The blush gives a natural glow to the skin, brightening, dewy and fresh faced. As it is lightweight the formula is long lasting, very hydrating and with or without primer helps soften the appearance of enlarged pores.

The Bare Minerals Pop of Passion Blush Balms are pretty small in size and lightweight so is great for popping in a make up bag or using on the go, especially as I have found the best way to apply it is with my fingers!

The lip balms are £16 and the blushes are £20 and can be found at Escentual, Boots, Feel Unique, Debenhams and Lookfantastic.

What a gorgeous blush! I always expect Bare Minerals to be powder products and tend to forget they are quite a diverse brand!

I’ve been wanting to try one of these since I tried one of the lip balms and really liked it. I think this would be the shade I’d pick, too!
