Strikeapose 2014 Roundup

Happy New Years Eve everyone! As the year is coming to a close I have looked back through my year of blogging and had a look at all my favourite things I have done and all my different posts. Looking through these older posts it had never dawned on my how much my blog has grown this year, how much more confident I have become in myself through blogging and how many wonderful opportunities I have had due to this little blog. My blog is only a year and a half old and this final year I think has really seen it grow and develop. I cannot wait for the next year and have so many ideas for future posts as well as continuing to work on my Youtube channel.

I really hope you have enjoyed this years blog posts and if you are a regular reader or viewer then a big thank you for sticking with me! Let me know your favourite content as well as things you would like to see more of in 2015. Personally it has been such a busy year for me outside of the blog, growing my own business, 2 new editions to the family, getting engaged and I am currently moving into my first home! (Look forward to home wear and wedding posts).

Going down memory lane here are a few of the different make up faces I shared with you. The basis of my blog is beauty related and I have worked with some amazing cosmetics and make up brands. My love of make up has grown and I have become more experimental with my looks. Do you have a favourite make up post of mine?

Blogger events have been fantastic this year, visiting some amazing places with some wonderful people. Fashion Week and then Fashion Weekend have been highlights this year as well as going to Glasgow with Bose as a judge for their selfie competition, London travelodge and Spa Breaks. I was also able to meet Gary Cockerill with Oriflame, worked with Essence for their Manchester event, attended London Bloggers festival and working with the Meadowhall team for Lush, Superdrug, Burberry and cocktail making! Bring on more events in 2015?!

A fair few of my posts have also been DIY related. Crafts, beauty and baking have been the theme and I have loved doing them. I have also made little videos for them and they have been really popular so this is an area I can see me doing more in the future.

Over 2014 I have also developed my love of face masks, here are some of my weird and wonderful attempts at photographing and sharing them with you…

Nail art will always be a continuing subject on my blog. I love nail art and although this isn’t a purely nail art blog they do feature regularly. Let me know which you like and would like to see more of, my character nails have gone down very well on Youtube so I may do a few more in the next year.

Lastly are this years outfits. I do outfit posts fairly infrequently for a fashion blogger as it is the area of my blog I am more self conscious about. My highlight is still the fashion shoot with Voodoo Vixen with me and Rose in Vintage, retro dresses hair and make up. My sister Rose you will see in a fair few of these photographs and we still blog together sometimes although she is too busy with work to blog with me full time.
