Summer Lookbook 2014 Youtube Video

For my regular readers you may have seen my recent videos on my Youtube, which I hope you have been enjoying! With the lovely summer weather we have been having I thought I would share my summer garden outfit with you. My summer lookbook video shows my really casual, cool, boho chic look that would be great for a beach holiday or for a pretty day outfit. I love the trend this summer for elasticated head band wrap up dos. They are fairly easy to do and look great, but the best thing is that when you take it out your hair is in big ringlets. It’s actually a great way to curl your hair without using any heat products. If you would like me to do a tutorial or video on how to do this look then let me know, it can be a bit tricky for long hair.

My favourite item of the look are the Primark White Matte False Nails, I managed to find the last pack in my Primark so if they are sold out in your Primark I have linked an eBay seller that has some left. Using the glue from the set I applied them in seconds and gave them a quick file. So far they have lasted 3 days without needing any nails re-gluing. I love the simple white matte effect and the contrast it gives my skin. They go with any outfit this summer and are short enough that they aren’t an issue. I was worried when applying my foundation but any marks wash off the nails and they still look sparking white.

Here are the Ipanema Blush Ocean Sandals which I recently wrote about here. I’m really loving wearing these sandals at the moment, they are really comfortable and are very similar to flip flips except that they are great for going out in as they stay on your feet. They are actually made of plastic, including the top mosaic section and are like grown up jellies! This means that they are really pretty and comfortable and aren’t affected if you get them wet on the beach.
