Lancôme Énergie de Vie Liquid Moisturiser

This week I have been trialling the Lancôme Énergie de Vie Liquid Moisturiser, a new Lancôme launch that targets tired, rough, dull or dry skin. The Lancôme Énergie de Vie Liquid Moisturiser has been inspired by new Korean beauty technology and uses Goji Berry extract and Lemon Balm oil to achieve its results.

The press release explains how your skin will be left looking energised, healthier, and hydrated by this new liquid texture that melts into the skin. It provides a base for make up, gives softer smoother skin and is like that post-gym glow – in a bottle.

My skin is very acne prone and, due to this, I have some strong, prescription medication to combat breakouts that leaves my skin very dry. My skin can be very sensitive, blemish prone and a combination of dry and oily so I was intrigued to see what the Lancôme Énergie de Vie Liquid Moisturiser could do for me.

I used the Lancôme Énergie de Vie Liquid Moisturiser in place of my normal daily moisturiser. The product was clear and as light as water on the skin with a pretty, subtle scent. The product dries after a few minutes and does leave a little oily residue on the surface that gives your skin a healthy glow. It worked well as a base for my makeup and gave me no further break outs or blemishes. After a week of using the moisturiser my skin is looking pretty healthy, scarring has healed slightly and dry patches are radically reduced.

Obviously I cannot give the most in-depth review after only a week, I might have to purchase the full bottle as I have been impressed in such a short time and also so I can share a little more about the packaging and the share the long-term product results.
