My little sister Rose, who some of you will know as she sometimes writes posts for me, recently went on a visit to New York and brought me back some goodies. Along with some Peanut Butter M&M’s she aided my MAC love and collection. Whilst MAC is cheaper in the states it is a long way from being cheap so it is just a mini MAC haul but I thought I would do a little video showing you my newest pieces of makeup.
Thank you for watching my Mini MAC Haul 2015 video and thank you to all who have subscribed so far. I love how many of you are commenting, leaving your feedback and liking my content. Please give this video a like and subscribe if you are new!
I am loving all three of these items but the one probably getting the most use is the MAC Cremesheen lipstick in shade Peach Blossom. It is such a lovely shade, very wearable and perfect for a ‘no make up’ spring look. It gives me a fresh-faced look and isn’t too pale that it washes me out.
Although I am not as confident with a bold red lip I had some lovely feedback saying I should wear it more often. The MAC Retro Matte lipstick in shade Ruby Woo is a glamorous, gorgeous shade that instantly makes you feel 100%. I love the Retro Matte finish, this is the first of these that I have tried. It finishes matte an isn’t too drying on the lips. I prefer matte finishes with bolder shades as the colour stays where it is and doesn’t move. I wore this to a meal and was so impressed with its lasting power.
Last from the mini Mac Haul was the MAC False Lashes Waterproof Mascara. This didn’t give me the results I was expecting, rather than big bold lashes it gave me a fuller and thicker lash look. It works really well on defining my eye without making it really look as though I am wearing mascara. It gives a very natural, clump free finish.
