Autumn Winter 2014 Trends – Coats
Its starting to get colder and I am in serious need of a new winter coat. I’ve been looking online for some inspiration at the autumn winter 2014 trends for which coat to choose and here are some of my favourites that I found.
I’m a real fan of pastel shades that are so popular this season. Lilacs, powder pinks and baby blues such as the Miss Selfridge Fur collar pea coat and New Look Tall Pale Blue Double Breasted Boyfriend Coat are gorgeous and give a soft, elegant vibe.
Styles that I love that are around the the moment are the oversized, boyfriend blazer coats and the double breasted midi coats. I am torn between these two styles, the easy minimal effort look or the more romantic and structured designs.
Some coats this season are real statement pieces that are vibrant colours, two toned, caped or textured and are key investment pieces. This may include this seasons top trend, the blanket, as well as faux furs, patch work effect, heavy tweeds and checks.

I love how trench coats are the latest trend! I have about three of them because they’re a type of jacket that suit me better than anything else and because you can get really padded ones I wear them all through winter and autumn! Great picks here :)
