GREAT WAYS TO SHARE YOUR PHOTOS
When you travel as much as I do, you end up taking a lot of photos. They are a great way to remember where you have been and what you have seen. But, somehow you always end up enjoying them more when you share them with friends and family. Doing so is a great way to stay in touch and let everyone know what you are up to. Over the years, I have come across some fantastic ways of sharing my photos with others. Here are some of my favorites.
Turn some of them into canvas prints
One unusual approach I have come across is using a canvas printing company to have your best shots turned into artwork. You can do this online, which is perfect for a traveler. They make excellent gifts too. So, if you cannot be at home for a birthday or special anniversary you can still buy and send a truly personal and special present.
Create photo themed presents
It is also possible to upload your photos online and use them to buy unique photo gifts for friends and family. Phone, laptop and tablet covers make particularly good gifts.
Share your photos via a private website
I know that many of my friends and family keep track of what I am up to by logging onto this site every now and again. Plus, over the years, I have picked up a lot of followers. So, if I take a good photo I will usually find a way to include it in a post. Sometimes I come up with an idea for an article then go out and take a photo to fit in with what I am planning to write. As a result, I end up naturally sharing my photos with other people.
However, you do not necessarily have to be a travel blogger to be able to share your photos online. People are increasingly signing up to a specialist service that enables them to create a vacation website. These sites are super easy to set up. Once you have done so all you need to do is to plug your phone into your laptop and transfer your photos across. Your site can either be private or public. It is up to you. If you want to keep it just for friends and family all you do is password protect it and only share the details with those who you want to see your photos.
Turn some of them into a video slideshow
Another great option is to have some of your photos turned into a short slideshow style video. Services like Slide.ly and others make this really easy to do. You simply load your photos up, press a button and let the app or program you have chosen to use work its magic. Then you share the link with whoever you want.
