My what mary wore post was taken yesterday on a visit to the gorgeous Lyme Park in Manchester. It was a long day yesterday visiting the deer park and place of filming Pride and Prejudice! It was a bit of a date day with my boyfriend so after we went to the Trafford centre for some food, shopping and to see the film ‘About Time’. This is such a sweet, lovely movie to those of you that haven’t seen it. :)
The dress in this post is a handmade dress from a small boutique shop in Leeds called Blue Apple if you want to check it out. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw the sugar skull print, I love sugar skulls and thought this dress was so unique and beautiful I had to get it. I wasn’t sure about the burn orange colour but think it suits me well and is a good colour for autumn. Blue Apple is a fab little shop and often has deals on, when I went all items were buy one, get the second half price! My cardigan is just a simple black cardigan, great for everyday wear from Tescos. It was only £10 and I love its ruched shoulders, ribbed cuffs and hem. The little black ankle boots with gold buckles I found in Asdas George for only £20!
