Amie Naturally Kind Spring Clean Deep Cleansing Mask Review

The Amie naturally kind spring clean deep cleansing mask is free from parabens, mineral oils, petrochemicals, animal extracts (excluding beeswax) and is suitable for vegetarians. The mask has been dermatologically tested and pH balanced to be gentle and effective at combating blemishes and purifying the skin.

As the Amie mask uses naturally derived plant extracts Amie has a mild and very gentle formula and since I have very sensitive, blemish prone skin I was keen to see the results. The mask is very cooling as it has both peppermint and lime extracts which help reduce inflammation and keep your skin soft.

Use as you would a regular face mask and leave to dry for about 10 minutes, using the mask once or twice a week. As you can see this is quite a thick, green clay mask and I found the best way to apply the mask was with a flat foundation brush as this was a far less messy route than with my fingers. The mask cools and tingles and so far has really helped with keeping some of my blemishes at bay, breathing a little more life into my damaged skin and seems to have brought out all the impurities in my skin. Be warned my partner Jon tried the mask and whilst he loved the results the peppermint/lime combination made his eyes water and he said his skin stung a little whilst the mask was on so if you have very sensitive eyes or you do not like tingly face masks this isn’t the product for you.

Amie

For the price you do get a reasonable amount of product, 4 face mask’s later and I still have plenty left in the tube. The Amie deep cleansing mask smells so refreshing and is quite an intense, purifying mask but I couldn’t recommend it any more for anyone with tired or painful blemished skin.
