#AD The October Lush Fresh & Flowers Box: A Little Ritual for Darker Days
October always brings that shift: the evenings longer, the air cooler, a leaning toward ritual rather than hustle. This box aligned with that mood. The self-care felt a little more deliberate (bath + ritual + a floral moment).

The Lush Fresh & Flowers box is a monthly treat – priced at £35 including UK next-day delivery. You get freshly-made cosmetics, plus a posy of flowers inspired by British seasons. The products are made within 48 hours before dispatch and ideally should be used as soon as you receive them.

One extra thing: the box is designed to fit through your letterbox and the packaging is fully recyclable versus some bulkier mail-order boxes.

This is the Lush Fresh & Flowers box I unboxed in my “get unready with me” reel. I ran the bath, and gave myself a full evening wind-down. Let’s go through what was inside.
A soft start – Dreamwork
I began with the Dreamwork Cleanser. The texture reminded me of soft clay, almost like cookie dough. I pinched a little, added water, and it turned creamy in my hands. Lavender, cherry, and coconut yoghurt blended together in the scent. I took my time massaging it in, the lavender calming everything down instantly. My skin felt clean but not tight, just soft and calm.

Carry Your Wishes incense cones

I’ve never really been an incense person, if I’m honest. I usually find it a bit too strong or smoky, but these glittery ones in the Lush Fresh & Flowers box completely surprised me. They had that soft, comforting Rose Jam scent running through them, which gave just enough sweetness without being overwhelming. I didn’t even know Lush made incense before this Lush Fresh & Flowers box, but now I’m fully converted.

Bathing like a witch (a glamorous one)

The Lizard’s Leg and Howlet’s Wing Bath Bomb looked like a tiny spell itself and I loved the design. As it hit the water, the design swirled together, fizzing into a bright orange bath. The scent was warm and spicy, thanks to the ginger and mustard, and it filled the whole bathroom. Perfect after a cold walk. Whilst I had that content tiredness that only happens after a good bath, I was a little disappointed by the lack of drama from this bath bomb. I love a bath bomb that gives a little more performance, and didnt notice anything happening with the popping candy ingredient.

A mask for good fortune

While I soaked, I brushed on Draw in Luck, Prosperity, Joy. Fresh apple pulp, basil, and chamomile gave it that earthy-green smell, like an orchard after rain. After fifteen minutes, I rinsed it off, the gentle exfoliation from this mask left my skin was brighter.

A final moment of stillness

I finished with the Bring in Clarity, Clear Visions, Avoid Confusion eye pads. They’d been in the fridge, so they were icy cold when I placed them over my eyes. I lay there for ten minutes, letting the aloe and parsley do their thing, just breathing in the faint herbal scent. Again, until the Lush Fresh & Flowers box I didnt know Lush made eye pads – its a great way to discover new items!

The flowers that came in this Lush Fresh & Flowers box was a Rose Wand Facial Garni Toner – a fun idea for flowers for the autumn months. Everything in this month’s box felt connected: ritual, rest, renewal.
