Blogger Event Leeds – Murder on the Posh Floor

blogger event

As many of you will have seen if you follow some Leeds bloggers on Twitter, we recently attended a rather good blogger event. Murder on the Posh Floor, hosted by Posh Flooring, was a murder mystery dinner at the Hilton in Leeds for 30 dressed to impress bloggers.

I wore a dress I managed to nab in the recent Chi Chi London £1 dress sale, I was very happy to have an event I could wear such an elegant, floor length dress too.

We went in for dinner and the tables were laid out beautifully, my vegetarian meal selection sounded delicious (although was definitely not slimming world friendly).

Unfortunately before dinner could begin someone was murdered, but we were in luck, Sherlock Holmes was in close proximity to the Hilton and was able to join us and help us to solve the case.

As you can see Sherlock Holmes was very camera shy and hated the attention he commanded in the room.

Posh Flooring had definitely come up with the perfect solution for an event that would cause bloggers to pay close attention to the flooring!

Our teams were our three dinner tables, ours number 2, and evidence files, personal items, suspect list, background checks and finger print dusting were handed our for us to work on.

Unfortunately, for our team table, the delicious food was handed out during the course of the investigation and our attention to solving the murder clearly slipped.

The pudding was as delicious as it looks!

Our team unfortunately was the only team to not narrow down the murderer or reasoning, although I did deduce that the murder weapon was cyanide from the almond scent left behind.

A big thank you to Posh Flooring for hosting such a fun and unusual blogger event and for inviting me along! You can read more about the event here.
