DIY Gel Nails – Video Tutorial

Being able to do DIY Gel Nails at home is something I have been really keen to learn, ever since seeing how simple it was to achieve in my Superdrug Nail Bar visit video. I loved my gel nails from Superdrug, the polishes were great and lasted a long time. I didn’t move away from this brand when looking for my own gel polishes and found this great eBayer for getting all my Pro Gel Super Nail gel polish shades as well as the gel bonder, base and top coat. Getting a gel manicure in the salon will cost you around £15 – £20 which is quite a lot, adding up everything to do this at home you have saved money after the fifth time you do your nails.

To cure the nails I used my new LED UV Lamp, the USpicy Crescent LED Nail Polish Lamp. I have found this to be such a good and sturdy product, currently reduced by £110. It fits in all 5 fingers at once, unlike most UV Lamps and has a motion sensor to begin the timer straight away. You can set a timer for 90, 60 and 30 seconds. For each cure you need to put your hand under for 2 minutes so either do a 90 + 30 or 60 + 60 session. If you don’t like the timer option you can also just leave it on with this lamp and time the 2 minutes yourself.
