Organising A Memorable Wedding: Do It Once But Well

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It’s safe to say that if there is one event which you would like to stick around in your memory, it’s most probably your wedding. After all, not everyone has the money just to go and get re-married every now and again just because they feel like it, as nice as that would be. For most people, their wedding day is a one-time thing purely due to financial constraints. There is quite a bit to organise for the occasion, and with each added nicety and each extra guest on the guest list, the price just goes up and up. If you’re like most people then you just want to have one wedding, but make it one to remember, understandably so. If you want to have an event which both you and all your guests will remember for years to come then there are several ways in which you could go around doing just that. If you can’t think of any and need a bit of a push to get started, then keep on reading as we will go through just a few ways in which you could get started with your planning.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][thb_gap height=”20″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”middle”][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”16173″ img_size=”1600X1300″ onclick=”link_image”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Do something unique

It might be hard to do something truly unique in a field where most people try to be “unique”, so let’s be realistic here. Will your wedding have something which has literally never been done before? Well, it would be pretty damn cool if it did, but that’s not very realistic to say the least, purely due to the fact that people have been organising weddings for a long while now, namely around almost 800 years now. So finding something which hasn’t been done before is as likely as having an original ad on the bus. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][thb_gap height=”20″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”middle”][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]That said, there are things which you could do which are not done anywhere near as often, for example some less-than-formal wedding invitations. After all, you’re not sending them out to total strangers, but the people closest to you, whether they happen to be family or friends, surely they can take a joke and have at least some sense of humour. Have a handmade banner to put up in the church or venue of your choosing rather than a generic printed out design which has been at hundreds of other weddings around the world to add a bit of flavour to the place. If you’re not a huge fan of the handmade aesthetic, then feel free to print something out as long as you have a custom design to put up on it. Whether you get someone to design it for you or if you have some Adobe Illustrator skills to put up to the task yourself, all is good as long as it works for you.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”16176″ img_size=”1500X1600″ onclick=”link_image”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][thb_gap height=”20″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Organise some entertainment

Having some nice banners or chair covers is great for first impressions, but the meat of the event is usually the thing which people remember for years to come. The sitting around and talking part, the sipping on drinks and sneaking out for a cigarette part, the trying to retain your composure after a few drinks part. We all know that part. In order to make it more than just a social drinking and eating event, you can always add a bit of flavour to it with some fancy entertainment to show up. Now, what’s the best thing to entertain your guests is up to you but there are more options out there than you might initially think. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][thb_gap height=”20″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”middle”][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”16174″ img_size=”1600X1300″ onclick=”link_image”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Need something flashy? Something impressive? Something which will appeal to both the kids and adults in the room alike? Something which could even get a few people gasping? Well, why not get a wedding magician to come around to pull a few rabbits out of their hat, and a few tricks from their sleeve? You most probably have not heard of getting a magician to come perform for a wedding before, and while yes it has been done, the fact that you yourself have not heard about it is enough proof to show that it’s at least somewhat unique. The rather universal appeal makes this a pretty safe bet when it comes to appealing to your guests.

Does the atmosphere get stale when you invite someone from “that side of the family”? Do some relatives not get along too well when stuck in the same room for more than 10 minutes? All that can be remedied with one thing which unites just about everyone, and that is one of our more basic functions. Laughter. Laughter manages to make everyone get along and what better way to get people to laugh than to get a comedian for the occasion? Yes that’s really a thing, comedians are available to hire for parties, events and weddings alike, and yes they are funny. They aren’t getting paid for nothing.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”16175″ img_size=”1600X1300″ onclick=”link_image”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][thb_gap height=”20″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
