Recently I was lucky enough to have a bareMinerals make under. I’d never tried bareMinerals before and didn’t know much about the brand. To start with their primer was applied to my face, it smelt amazing and gave my skin a good texture and evenness, before even applying any foundation. Rather than a conventional liquid foundation a light powder was applied with one of their think large brushes. Applied in small circular motions over my face for a good few minutes this gave my skin an even, blemish free complexion. To remove the look of one block solid colour coverage, contouring was done with bronzer above my brow, below the cheek bone and down my chin. I had a blush applied to my cheek bones and a small amount of mascara on my eyelashes. I then had the Go The Distance lipstick applied, my new favourite lipstick. It’s quite a natural coral shade that suited my pale complexion really well and was moisturising as it contains shea butter.
The make up lasted a long time with no need to top up and it gave amazing coverage for blemish marked skin. I love having natural looking make-up and my skin looked so much better for the make under. My new favourite products are the –

I love the bareMinerals foundation! It’s the first one I’ve found that genuinely does give a flawless finish where you can’t even tell I’m wearing it. I also have their night serum which works wonders!

I used to use their loose powder foundation religiously but felt like maybe I was missing out and wanted to try some different things. This makes me want to go back to it, they did a wonderful job on you!

I absolutely love their eye primer – I have a gold shimmery one (I’m not sure if it is still available) that looks amazing if I’m going for any form of shimmery eye colour and makes my eyeshadow stay on until I take it off and I usually have quite oily eyelids.
I also absolutely could not live without their Mineral Veil powder? It’s a loose powder that I usually sweep on over foundation and concealer to set everything in place. It makes my skin look so much better and I highly recommend it!

We haven’t tried any of BareMInerals’ products either, but we’ve heard amazing things about their Moxie Lipstick and foundation. We’ve always preferred a natural makeup look, so we love this make under!! We’re defintiely going to have to try out some of these products!

Since I first tried BareMinerals I have never used anything else. It is ideal for problematic skin (such as mine) where you don’t want to clog it up and make it worse!x

Looks great on you, I now can’t wear that makeup it causes me to breakout :( but it can look so natural and feel like your wearing nothing at all.
