Your Bed Space

One of the main features in your room that is going to make you feel cosy and safe is your bed. The bed is by far the best feature in any room, giving it a bold focal point and adding character to the décor. Creating a warm and welcoming bed space is really important to ensure you have a space to retire to and wind down after a busy day of lectures. Invest your money into some good quality bed linen, as this will instantly make you feel comfortable and at home. You can then dress your bed with some stylish scatter cushions to add to the overall look and style of the bed, whilst also making it comfortable and cosy.

Lighting Options

When you’re given your allocated uni room, you’re not going to know what kind of lighting to expect, so it’s always beneficial to have some form of lighting to add to the space. The lighting within your room is key to creating the right atmosphere, as you want your room to feel welcoming and homely. Soft toned lighting is perfect for bedrooms, as you’ll notice that it helps to keep a natural balance throughout the room.

You may, however, choose to introduce some brighter lighting options to your workspace, as it’s important to have a space that you can use to complete your uni work and stay focused. When adding lighting to your room, try to take certain safety measures to make sure you don’t hurt yourself or damage the room. It’s important that if you’re using ladders, you refer to important documents such as the reader manual and the ladder log. This is also important for making sure everything runs smoothly and easily.
