Sheinside – OOTD Oversize Houndstooth Coat

You may notice that it is not me styling this outfit today, but my sister. I was sent this beautiful Oversize Houndstooth Coat from Chinese company Sheinside in a size XL. I am a curvy girl, size M/L or 14ish and usually upsize my winter coat to a size 16 to allow for lots of layering, so was really disappointed about having to give this away when it definitely wasn’t a UK XL like I had suspected it would be. My sister Rose is a size 10/12 and this XL coat is a pretty good fit for her but was way too small for me.

Here are some of her thoughts on the coat –

This is such a lovely, smart winter coat. It is perfect for meeting up with my friends or looking smart for work but even better it is warm too. It is quite thick compared to most coats and has padding inside making it even warmer. The lining is a lovely comfortable material that doesn’t irritate my skin when I am wearing it. I love the design of the coat as well; it is smart casual and is fairly neautral so goes really well with most things I wear. The only downside with this coat is that I’m a size 10/12 and this is an XL!

Sheinside offer this really beautiful coat at such a reasonable price, I was really impressed with the quality compared with it’s price tag. Whilst Sheinside might not be suitable for clothing for me and many others unless they offer XXL or XXXL sizes if you are a size 10 or under you can find some great finds and deals. They also have a range of accessories and jewellery suitable for all sizes at incredible rates.
