Spring Styles for 2014

Pastel shades are a big trend in the Spring Styles for 2014, whether its focus be on clothing, accessories or makeup. I can’t say I am a massive fan of pastel tones but love pairing one off pastel pieces with an outfit to give it a more feminine touch. I have blogged before about my favourite pastel trends here and the Radiant Orchid shade but there are so many pastel items I love at the moment I thought I would do a wishlist too!

My favourite item in the list are the Ray-Ban ‘Original Aviator’ 58mm Polarized Sunglasses. Aviator glasses are a safe go to sunglasses style but the Ray-Ban’s look amazing in pink. I’m not really a pink girl but this added glam looks amazing. I recently saw Lily Allen wearing some similar white pointed stilettos to the Danaya White and they looked amazing teamed with a pair of black jeans, a really simple look that is so easy to pull off.

Pastel shades are great for compliments the palest to the darkest skin tones and giving a fresh, spring look. Pastel polishes and make up tones can really brighten up your look. I recently posted on the spring trend of pink make up and if you haven’t had a go I highly suggest it! Nude nails and pastel polishes are my go to nail shades at the moment, looking effortlessly beautiful! For me pastels are the perfect chic way to bring spring in with style.

Ahh, those Rayban Aviators are amazing! Definitely agree that pastels add some instant chic to any outfit. I love combining my white wedges with boyfriend jeans to add some glam.

Great post! So refreshing to see somebody on the same wave length! I’m not a lover of pink or lots of pastels, but the statement pieces are a must! I’m in love with that Blazer! x

I LOVE that dress. I’m such a sucker for florals and if I had that, I would find every excuse to wear it! I’m the same with pastels, I’m having trouble jumping on the radiant orchid train because I’m just so in love with pastels!

I really love the pastel trend! I haven’t gotten around to get anything pastelly, I bought a new dress yesterday and the pastel ones just didn’t seem that great when I had them on.. Went for a dark blue/white striped one in the end xD
