Urban Decay UK New Releases

I recently had the chance to have a catch up and a sneak peek at some of the Urban Decay UK latest releases and new exciting launches.

Urban Decay UK New Releases – Eye Shadow

Arguably Urban Decay are best known for their eye shadows, where have you been if you missed the Naked Palette hype? Their eyeshadow formula is loved by many beauty junkies, including myself as is it velvety with a great colour selection and little fall off. They have now improved their eyeshadows by expanding their shade range with 8 new eyeshadow singles.

The new eyeshadows have been designed to let you keep it as a single shadow or pop the tray out and add it to a build your own palette. There are neutral matte shades which I love but also six colours that are duotones. These duo tones are very reflective, as the name suggests, of two contrasting colours such as red with a green shift. My favourite of these was Fireball, a peach shade with a gold shift. The new Urban Decay shadows use the same Pigment Infusion System giving intense colour, pigment and payout.

Urban Decay UK New Releases – Lip gloss

Urban Decays Revolution High-Color Lip gloss give high-coverage with their ultra-pigmented formula in one coat. There are 14 shades in cream and sparkle textures in shades varying from nudes to bold brights and deep, dark shades. Again using the Urban Decay Pigment Infusion System the lip glosses have a very creamy texture whilst having insane pigmentation. Within their formula is Hilurlip that makes the lips look plumper, fuller and defines and hydrates the lips.

This lip gloss is very pigmented but maybe it’s best feature is that is doesn’t feather or bleed. The packaging is also very unique with its flat design so that it is pocket friendly. The packaging is long, slim with sexy quality.

Urban Decay UK New Releases – Blush

Twelve Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Blush shades that admittedly made my draw drop when I first saw them.  These blushes cover everything, from neutrals to super brights – pink to mauve to red orange to purple. Daring? Quiver and Bang are amazing red shades or go full-out with Bittersweet – yes, it’s purple!

Afterglow gives you a lit-from-within glow that is wearable and long-lasting. Although the colours are bold they are extremely blendable, and go on with soft, sheer tones that is buildable without becoming cakey. The Afterglow has a creamy texture that is soft on the skin so it applies very well, even over blemish riddled skin like mine.

Some of the shades have a matte finish whilst others have a touch of shimmer. The packaging is lovely and is magnetic, with a UD crosshatching cut out from the lid so that the shade can be seen through.
