Burts Bees Review

I often suffer with incredibly sore lips, they get incredibly dry and I always take a lip balm with me when I go out. Recently I have been using the Burts Bees squeezable beeswax lip balm with vitamin E and peppermint.

Burts Bees Review – Squeezable, Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E and Peppermint

The lip balm features their signature tingle, a pleasant menthol, mild cool sensation on the lips when applied. This squeezable tube is a take on the original balm, so if you are a fan of that then this is the same but with a softer and smoother formula. The ingredients are, as always, 100% natural and I much prefer having a slanted applicator to having to use my finger to apply from the pot. It is a little more pricey than both the twist tube and the pot so it is based on applicator preference as to which you choose.

Some of the ingredients include castor seed oil, vegetable oil, beeswax, peppermint oil, cocoa seed butter and rosemary leaf extract. The texture is a quite oily but with no tackiness and leaves your lips nourished and looking as though you have applied a gloss. The balm is great if you are like me and suffer from cracking or dry lips as it is very hydrating and makes your lips much softer and look healthy. I’ve been using it both on its own or over a lipstick which works well. The texture is very thick and I have also been applying it liberally before bed before I go to sleep, like a deep moisturising lip mask, to keep my lips looking full and healthy.

Great review! I’ve always love Burt’s Bees products. I can’t wait to give this one a try, specifically for the peppermint flavor.

    Hey, Mary!
I haven’t ever tried anything from Burts Bees, but I’ve heard all good things about the company. I am an avid collector of lip balms, I but the, use them twice and then forget about them! I wish I could buy this lip balm in India, do you know if I can?

    Have a nice day!
