For those of you who are regular readers of Strikeapose you will know that in the last few weeks I shared a rather exciting collaboration with essence cosmetics. You can read about the announcement of launching my own palette with essence cosmetics as well as a the full write ups, including swatches and reviews of my own palette as well as Diana’s, Serena’s and Palmira’s.

Also in the collection are 4 nail polishes, the 4 were designed by each blogger to work well alongside their palette.

01 Be Happy + Smile is Diana’s shade, linking with the essence cosmetics touch up to go one for all palette. Subtle and sweet this mild pink shimmer has a satin effect, semi matte finish. A perfectly pretty pale.

The only metallic in the nail polish collection is Palmira’s, 02 Hello Beautiful! The tones work well with her eye palette, Vintage Rose. A classy colour for day or evening wear, although you can see from my pictures I struggled with streaking.

My own nail polish is shade 03 All Eyes on Me. The name is linked with the on screen, Hollywood theme that ran in my palette shape & shadows shade names.

The nail varnish has a matte effect making it a subtle grey, cool toned nude. I find it very high coverage, only needing one coat.

Lastly Serena’s polish add’s a pop of colour to the collection. Chosen to work perfectly with glowing skin or a lovely tan this colour works wonderfully with her essence cosmetics the glow must go on bronzing & highlighting palette.

Her shade is 04 Shine Bright and this gorgeous pale turquoise dries with a high gloss finish.
